SAT Prep for Foster Youth
We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Genesis Hopeful Haven’s (GHH) mission to enrich their youth’s education. Our program focuses on providing SAT tutoring to their youth to strengthen their math skills. This helps them secure a good position in the college admissions process and throughout their careers.
Genesis’ mission is to prepare youth to successfully transition from the foster care system to a purpose-driven adulthood by providing a haven that promotes hope, healing and independence.

The Story of Genesis' Founder, Fritzie Saintoiry
Fritzie’s journey is a testament to resilience and compassion. After the heartbreaking loss of her infant son, Genesis, she founded Genesis Hopeful Haven, an educational center for foster youth aged 18 to 25. Driven by a desire to honor her son’s memory, Fritzie created a nurturing environment where young people can learn essential skills in math, science, and financial literacy, empowering them to achieve independence.Recognizing the unique challenges faced by those aging out of foster care, Fritzie also established a network of seven homes. These homes provide safe havens where youth can live together, supported by mentors who guide them through their transition to adulthood. Her mission is not just about shelter; it’s about fostering community and connection.
Building Genesis Hopeful Haven was not without obstacles. Fritzie secured funding from state and private sectors while rallying dedicated volunteers for tutoring, health workshops, and career counseling. Her warm and charismatic personality has made her a beloved figure among the youth, creating an environment of trust and support.
The impact of her work is profound, with many youth pursuing higher education and successful careers, some becoming social workers to give back to the community. Fritzie dreams of expanding the center to serve even more youth, all while honoring Genesis’s legacy through her unwavering commitment to making a difference in their lives.
